About Us
Nivedya School of Dance was founded in March 2024 with a humble but dedicated resolve to uplift the standard of dance education in Bharatanatyam with the central idea of mindfulness in training, practise and performance. It is our contention that dance is a path to divinity and nothing but the depth and rigour of practice can lead us on in that journey.
Today we impact lakhs of people with short form content that brings them closer to the dance form one minute at a time. We impart training to students(children & adults) from across the globe in traditional and new formats to allow them to make time for dance in today’s fast paced world.
Our mission is to make quality classical dance education accessible and enjoyable for students from all walks of life.

I randomly found the page of Nivedya School of Dance on Instagram and decided to join the online class. I was not sure in the beginning how it would work to learn the classical dance online and how long will I continue, but after almost 1.5 years I am very satisfied and enjoying my dance classes. My teacher Jasmin pays attention to every detail of our dance, even though its online( I think she has that superpower 😂). She explains every detail to make us perfect. She is patient, friendly, humourous, motivating and knowledgeable. When I was growing up, the girls around me learned Bharatanatyam from childhood. I always wanted to join them, but never did because I was a boy. Now, at the age of 21, I've found a community within Nritya Nivedya. Guru Jasmine is a fantastic teacher who makes even her zoom classes warm and enjoyable with sarcastic jokes. Moreover, her careful breakdowns of angashuddhi and abhinaya make even the most difficult of adavus crystal clear. I joined NSD an year ago . It was the best decision I made. I feel fortunate to have gotten an opportunity to learn Bharatnatyam from Ms. Jasmine . She is very knowledgeable and makes sure each one of us learn every adavus thoroughly. I love the energy and friendly environment she brings in the class . She puts extra efforts in making adhyayans timely so that online learning is as good as offline ones. During the live classes she provides individual corrections which motivates us to do better.
